Note: This meeting
starts promptly at 7pm, so it's a good idea to get there 5-10
minutes early to get signed-in, have an opportunity to look over the
"lending" library and find your seat. |

CONFIDENTIALITY is
REQUIRED from
ALL ATTENDEES
Every attendee attending our
support meetings MUST adhere to our
confidentiality requirement. Nothing
said at a support meeting and no one seen at
a support meeting can be shared with anyone
else outside of the support meeting.
This means no talking with friends, family
members, co-workers, etc. outside the
support meeting, and no sharing of
information on the Internet including social
media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
If anyone becomes aware of anyone else not
following this confidentiality requirement,
please report it to a PFLAG Phoenix Board
member or any of our support group
facilitators for further actions. |

Why are support meetings held at churches? |

Directions: |
Note:
This church is located in an office park complex, and is
not always easy to find -- especially at night when it
is dark out. Please pay close attention to these
directions: Via de Cristo United
Methodist is located in the Pinnacle Peak Office Park
just east of the intersection of N. Scottsdale Road and
E. Pinnacle Peak Road.
- From Loop 101, take the N.
Scottsdale Road exit.
- Go north 2.7 miles to E.
Pinnacle Peak Rd and turn right.
- Take your third left into
the Pinnacle Peak Office Park.
- Via de Cristo is the 3rd
building on the left.
- Park anywhere.
Additional directions: Once
you turn onto E. Pinnacle Peak Road, if you reach Miller
Road, you've gone too far. Look for a Mexican
restaurant (X-Tapa Joe's) on the north side of
Pinnacle Peak Road, and turn just before it. Once
you make that turn, immediately turn left and then
immediately right (which takes you up a slight hill) -- you are now directly in front of
Via de Cristo. Look for additional parked cars (there's
also covered parking in front) and a PFLAG A-frame sign
out front. |

meetings -- this is a necessary precaution for our
volunteers and for liability purposes. |
