Our Paradise Valley Support Meeting
Date: 3rd Monday of each month
Location: Palo Cristi Presbyterian Church, 3535 E. Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley
Schedule:

PFLAG support meeting:

7:00pm Sign-in, browse PFLAG literature, check-out books/videos from our "lending" library, grab some refreshments, socialize, etc.
7:15pm Official start of PFLAG meeting; General announcements
7:20pm Guest speaker/program
7:55pm Break (run for a bathroom, grab a cookie and head for a support group!)
8:00pm Support/sharing groups:
  • general sharing group(s)--all are welcome
  • If requested, we can also arrange 'focused' sharing groups for:
    • GLBTQ* teens & family
    • GLBTQ spouses
    • Transgender individuals & family
 9:00pm Meeting ends (note: some support groups will run past 9pm if situations warrant.)

* GLBTQ = gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or "questioning"

Straight* Spouse support meeting:

7:00pm This support group is facilitated by the Straight Spouse Network and meets separately from the PFLAG support meeting.  This support group is ONLY for straight spouses.

Note:  This group occasionally holds additional support meetings at another location.  If interested, contact us for information.

* "Straight" spouse refers to an individual who is married or partnered to an opposite-sex person who is gay, lesbian, bisexual,  transgender, or "questioning" (GLBTQ).

From the West:
Take the Piestewa Freeway/Hwy. 51 (formerly known as the Squaw Peak Freeway) to Glendale Avenue; exit heading east.  Glendale Ave. quickly becomes Lincoln Drive.

From the East:
Take Cactus to Lincoln Drive; head west.

The Church:
is a stand-alone building located on the southwest corner of 36th Street and Lincoln Drive.  There is a traffic light at this intersection.  Park in the main parking lot, take the main sidewalk (facing Lincoln Dr.) down to the breezeway that separates the two main buildings.  The entrance door is midway down on your left.  Try to relax -- you'll meet only warm and caring people inside!
