• "Take the Power:  Tools for Life and Financial Planning"
  This toolkit has prepared by Lambda Legal so that GLBT individuals can take the power and create a more secure future for themself and their families.  The toolkit includes information on preparing wills and living trusts, health care powers of attorneys, and other vital legal documents, and also has pointers for finding an affordable attorney (among other helpful information).

Organizations:

• American Civil Liberties Union 
  A national organization whose website includes resources for students, parents and educators to use when dealing with legal issues, as well as a link for reporting harassment after all other interventions have failed.
• Lambda Legal
  A national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
