This toolkit has prepared by Lambda Legal so that GLBT individuals can take the power and create a more secure future for themself and their families.  The toolkit includes information on preparing wills and living trusts, health care powers of attorneys, and other vital legal documents, and also has pointers for finding an affordable attorney (among other helpful information).

Drawing on the diverse experiences of 12 transgender people of faith and allies, Gender Identity and Our Faith Communities curriculum will help to turn congregations into welcoming environments and participants into allies and advocates for transgender rights. As part of our ongoing educational efforts, the Religion and Faith Program has engaged over twenty transgender educators to lead trainings of the curriculum in 40 targeted political districts across the country.

The Donor Sibling Registry

The Donor Sibling Registry (DSR) was founded in 2000 to assist individuals conceived as a result of sperm, egg or embryo donation that are seeking to make mutually desired contact with others with whom they share genetic ties.. The estimate that 1/3 of their membership includes GLBT-headed families.  While they are a non-GLBT specific organization, they are committed to GLBT civil rights, equality, and diversity.
