Offers extensive Internet-based resources for the grieving, including tips on holidays and grief.
HIV/AIDS Grief Group
Meets weekly.  Contact:  602-277-9551
Hospice of Arizona's "Good Grief" Support Group
Offered periodically by Hospice of Arizona, this free 6-week "Good Grief" education and support program is offered exclusively for those in the GLBT community (including family members) who've experienced a death.  Contact Debra at 602-678-1313 to inquire when the next 6-week program will be scheduled.
MISS Foundation
The MISS Foundation is a 501 (c) 3, volunteer based organization committed to providing crisis support and long term aid to families after the death of a child from any cause. MISS also participates in legislative and advocacy issues, community engagement and volunteerism, and culturally competent, multidisciplinary, education opportunities.  Arizona MISS Foundation Support Groups, HOPE Mentors & AGAST Grandparent Mentors. For GLBT parents who've lost a child, look for the "Avondale - LGBTQ Parent Support" group in that list of Arizona MISS Foundation support groups -- check out the bio on the group's facilitator.
