A
'MUST SEE' film:
Friday, November 21st,
7:00pm
Scottsdale
Congregational United Church
of Christ
4425 N. Granite Reef Road
Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Can
the love between two people
ever be an abomination?
Is the chasm separating
gays and lesbians and
Christianity too wide to cross?
Is the Bible an excuse
to hate?
Dan Karslake's provocative,
entertaining documentary
brilliantly reconciles
homosexuality and Biblical
scripture.
Through the experiences of five
very normal, very Christian,
very American families --
including those of former House
Majority Leader Richard Gephardt
and Episcopalian Bishop Gene
Robinson -- we discover how
insightful people of faith
handle the realization of having
a gay child.

special film, please visit

"Daniel G. Karslake's
remarkable documentary
boldly takes on a loaded
topic--Christianity and
homosexuality--and examines
it both intellectually and
emotionally; the result may
well leave you blinking away
a few tears."
- Moira Macdonald, Seattle Times
"Powerful--a brave and noble
effort to heal a gaping
wound in our society."
- Andrew O'Hehir, Salon.com
"GO SEE THIS FILM!!!"

A Note from Mike at PFLAG Phoenix:
We had the good fortune to view this
incredible film while attending the PFLAG
National Convention in Washington, DC in October of 2007 --
we've since seen it several more times at various public
showings. Our initial review summed in four little words:
"GO SEE THIS FILM!!!" If faith, either
yours or someone else's (e.g., your
family or maybe those right-wing evangelical wingnuts with a
microphone), has ever been an issue in your life as it pertains
to the issue of homosexuality, you MUST see this film! Even if
that hasn't been a direct issue in your life, you'll get quite a
bit of affirmation from this film. At last, someone has created
a vehicle to not only show that gays and lesbians are NOT an
abomination, but that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH in this ongoing needless
public debate. Trust us: GO SEE THIS FILM!
You'll laugh, you just might cry, and for those who need to,
you'll find the pathway to reclaim your faith!
