Dear PFLAG Phoenix Family & Friends:

I want to thank everyone who came out to march with us under the PFLAG banner in the PRIDE Parade and to those of you who helped with the PFLAG booth and/or the margarita booths we staffed at the PRIDE Festival.

As most of you know we shared a booth with 1N10 & GLSEN this year. Sharing the booth worked out very well and saved all three organizations some money. I hope we will have this opportunity to work with 1N10 & GLSEN at future PRIDE events.

I want to especially thank those of you who provided the two beautiful vehicles and those of you who provided the 30th Anniversary balloons and signs.

I know we all want to thank Chuck Bonstelle for again coordinating everything for the parade, from filling out our application, working with the PRIDE Committee, to bringing magic markers to color the signs.

It was again an emotional experience seeing so many people from the GLBT community turn out for the event and the appreciation they expressed to PFLAG as we passed along the parade route.

I hope that those of you who took digital pictures will share them with the rest of us on this site.

A sincere thank you for your time and hard work in making this another successful PRIDE event.
