JOIN OUR
SUPPORT TEAM
The
GreenHouse
Project Advisory
Board is
seeking new
members!
In order
to best meet the
needs of LGBTQ
homeless youth,
we are expanding
our network of
adult supporters
and are inviting
YOU to join our
community
advisory board.
What does
the board
do?
We evaluate
and assess
program
goals and
delivery; we
raise funds
for youth
housing and
basic
living; we
engage in
community
outreach to
spread the
word about
The
GreenHouse
Project; we
work
directly
with
Tumbleweed
Center for
Youth
Development
staff to
ensure a
sustainable
and lasting
program for
homeless
LGBTQ youth.
When do you
meet?
Our
next meeting
is
Wednesday,
July 15 at
5:00pm. The
advisory
board meets
once a
month. We
are looking
for advisory
board
members
and/or
committee
chairs who
can take
leadership
roles in the
development
of our
homeless
youth
services.
Can I

your
next

Show

Furnishings:
We are
always in
need of
furniture
for our
apartments.
Used
chairs,
couches,
coffee
tables, beds
etc., will
gladly be
accepted and
we are happy
to pick
items up!
Stuff:
In
addition, our
youth
need
basic
kitchen
and
household
items,
bedding,
dishes,
pots and
pans,
etc. We
are also
very
grateful
for gift
cards to
stores
like
Target
or
Walmart
and
bus/light
rail passes
are
fantastic
as well!
Sponsor
a Youth:
Cash is
always a
great
contribution.
Your
monetary
donations
are tax
deductible
and help
to
provide
services
and
rent-free
living
to our
youth.
Think
about
sponsoring
a young
person
today!
Services:
GreenHouse
youth go
through
a
program
that
includes
counseling
services,
social
network
building
and
other
basic
life
skill
education.
Do you

expertise
in an
area?
Would
you be
willing
and able
to
donate a
couple
hours of
service
to our
youth
each
week or
month?

items such as dishware, towels,
toiletries, gift cards, bedding,
gently used furniture, food boxes,
