Update: PFLAG
Phoenix Appreciates Imperial Sovereign Empire's
Contribution!
On Feb. 16th,
about a dozen Phoenix PFLAG members and friends met
at La Roca for a wonderful evening sponsored by the
Imperial Sovereign Empire of Arizona. We were
entertained by drag queens old and new -- all
beautiful. The proceeds of the many song and dance
numbers were donated to PFLAG Phoenix -- we received
$1,000 from the night’s festivities! Jell-O shots
and a nostalgic night -- a step back into the “rock
and roll hall of fame” -- made this a fun night for
all. Our heartfelt "thanks" and appreciation
to the men and women of the Imperial Sovereign
Empire of Arizona for choosing PFLAG Phoenix as
their community beneficiary for that evening! |
Rock-n-Roll at the Rock: 50 years of Rock

A benefit
for PFLAG Phoenix. Hosted by
Baron II Jeff Muir and Baroness II Dee Dee Deviant. From
PFLAG Phoenix chapter president Dave Pape: "I
hope that those of you who can will come down to LaRoca and
support ISEA and the benefit event they are putting on for PFLAG
Phoenix. It should be quite a show and a lot of fun. The show
will include some of best men and women drag queens in Phoenix.
The theme of the show will be Rock & Roll 50s-90s."
Sponsored
by
The Imperial Sovereign Empire of Arizona. The ISEA is
a non-for-profit organization striving to unite the Gay,
Lesbian, Transgender, Bi-Sexual and Heterosexual communities
through charitable fundraising events to meet the needs of all.
The ISEA, like PFLAG
Phoenix, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and raises funds to support
the GLBT community and their allies. The ISEA is
associated with an international governing body, that was
founded in San Francisco in 1965, making it one of the oldest
international GLBT organizations.
