PFLAG National Wants to Hear from
Families Impacted by Hate Crimes
04/21/2008
Dear PFLAG'ers,
In the coming weeks, PFLAG may have an important opportunity for
families affected by anti-GLBT hate crimes to speak out in a
significant way.
We are looking for families, impacted by a hate crime, who would
be willing to work with PFLAG's field & policy and
communications departments to tell their stories. We would like
to talk to you, learn more about your story, and discuss how you
may be able to help with this potentially hi-visibility project.
We are also interested in hearing from individuals or families
who have been the victim of an anti-LGBT assault in school.
If you, or someone your chapter has been in contact with, have
an experience to share, please contact us. You can email Steve
Ralls, PFLAG's director of communications, at
sralls@pflag.org, or Elizabeth Brown, our field & policy
director, at
ebrown@pflag.org. And please distribute this message to
anyone who you believe may be interested in participating.
Thank you,
Steve
