"I have to admit that I boarded the ship with some trepidation. I was by myself, had never been on a cruise and didn't know what to expect. Well, I ended up having the best vacation ever. I met so many wonderful people: gay parents and their straight kids, gay and straight siblings, and tons of single people. And I got to hang out with two couples from The Amazing Race, hiked with Academy Award winner Mercedes Ruehl, and danced with Gloria Estefan (actually, we accidentally bumped shoulders on the dance floor - but she did smile at me!)."
